House Marketing Video

Well here's my second paid job. I was briefed to create a video around three minutes long to promote a housing development. As well as promoting the houses I was briefed to promote the are in which the houses are situated (Polzeath in Cornwall).

Parts of the shoot were extremely easy. This area of Cornwall is particularly beautiful, so getting pretty shoots was not an issue. The inside of the house is also very nice, light and spacious, which makes shooting inside a lot easier.

There were some complications. Firstly the weather. This video was shot in mid October, so as you can imagine a lot of time was spent staring at the clouds! Also the houses are not finished yet. So as you will notice the external shots all have some kind of obtrusion into the frame, usually blocking some piece of building equipment.

However the client was delighted with the product and has since commissioned me to create more accommodation based marketing videos for him.
